Russell Oppenheimer

County Councillor for Petersfield Rother and District Councillor for Liss

Russell Oppenheimer was elected to be the Conservative County Councillor for the Petersfield Hangers division on 4th May 2017. He is a businessman and local campaigner who lives in Petersfield with his wife and three children. Russell spent many years working at a senior level in central Government so he has solid experience of leading public sector transformation projects and delivering improvements to services.

Russell commented: “I am delighted to have been elected for Petersfield Hangers. We are fortunate to live in a special part of the country – conserving the natural environment and preserving the special character of our villages will be central to everything I do if elected as County Councillor”. 

Russell also represents Liss ward on East Hampshire District Council.
