Last Friday many members got together to say a huge thank you to Mark Kemp-Gee who has now stood down from his role as County Councillor for Alton Rural Division, a position he held for over 20 years. Mark has helped countless residents since he took up the position of councillor in 2005 and has been an exemplary community champion and public servant during this time. On 7th May this year Conservative Antonia Cox was elected and at the gathering she remarked what big shoes she had to fill and also gave her thanks to Mark for his invaluable advice. We wish him all the very best for his retirement.
